Most of the world stock market dropped quite sharply on Friday and Vietnam stock market fell sharply. US stocks ended Friday's session weighed by growing concerns over nationwide COVID-19 lockdowns in Europe that raised fears about new restrictions beyond the continent, which pressured blue chip stocks, oil and the broader market. Most of the stock markets in the world fell quite sharply on the first day of week, while the stock market in VietNam dropped sharply. Wall Street's stocks ended a choppy session mixed on Monday at the start of a holiday-shortened week, as traders considered the highly anticipated renomination of Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell to the top role at the central bank.
