Dow Jones Jumps 250 Points, Led By Microsoft, Apple; 5 Software Stocks To Watch With Earnings Due Soon. The Nasdaq composite and Nasdaq 100 hit all-time highs Monday, but the Dow Jones is still 9% off its high. The Nasdaq composite was up 1.6%, and the S&P 500 added 0.9%. The Russell 2000 small-cap index jumped 1.6%. Volume on the NYSE and Nasdaq was slightly lower compared to the same time Friday.
